When we named the company, Ecofixr, we meant it literally. A fixer doesn’t hand you a report and leave. They get in, navigate the system, solve the problems, and make it look easy. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to on every production, every time. We make sustainability feel like a natural part of the filmmaking process not an obstacle to it.
Ellen White has been recognized as a pioneer in sustainable film production by Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois. She’s on a mission to make sustainability the norm in TV, film, and commercial production, while championing the work of filmmakers along the way. She spent over 15 years producing and production managing, and her hands-on experience shapes everything she does.
Ellen is an active member in the Chicago film community, partnering with organizations, including the DCASE: Chicago Film Office, Independent Film Alliance Chicago, the Illinois Film Office, and the Chicago Department of Environment, to lead educational events and push the conversation forward.
